Here is another project I embellished with fabric by using the Bigshot, which I used to cut out the letters and the baubles and again used the Fabric Adhesive to adhere them. These are Santa sacks for my kids.

Beautiful Butterflies

I bought my daughter some plain T-shirts for $4, just for playing in and going to day care. I had a few scraps laying around from some outfits I had made her, so I cut out the Beautiful Butterflies shapes with the Big Shot and adhered them to the shirts with Stampin' Up! Fabric Adhesive. It took me 5 mins and no cost as the fabric was just scraps! Here is the result, I think it makes the plain T-shirts just a bit prettier for her.

New Idea Book and Catalogue Launch - Take 2

After some feedback from customers, I am now going to offer another option night for the IB&C Catalogue Launch. You have the following dates to choose from:

Tuesday, 13th September 2011 at 7.30pm, or
Friday, 16th September 2011 at 7.30pm

We will make 3 projects using new products for the Catalogue, the projects will feature the Pennant Parade stamp set, which is included in the cost of the launch night. Yes, that is right, you take the stamp set home with you to keep.

Prepayment is required to reserve your seat. As I have to preorder the stamp sets, I have to set a payment cut off date of the 7th September 2011 to ensure I have the sets for you by Launch night. The cost of the event is all inclusive, $45 if you would like the clear mount set, and $50 if you prefer wood mount. You will make 3 projects and take home the Pennant Parade stamp set, as well as, your very own copy of the new Idea Book & Catalogue. A light supper will be provided.

I am doing my launch a little different this year. It will be held at 7.30pm, Friday 16th Septemeber 2011, at my house. Come along and we will make 3 projects using new products from the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue. Each project will feature the stamp set Pennant Parade. Pennants are so popular for parties and Christmas right now.

There will also be other projects on display using this stamp set, so bring your camera or phone for ideas on how to use this set at home, as the set will be included. Yes, you get to take the Stamp Set home with you.

Prepayment is required for this event, as I have to preorder the stamp set for you. The cost for the event, all inclusive, is $45 if you would like the Clear mount set, and, $50 if you prefer Wood mount. I will need prepayment by Sunday, 11th Septemeber to ensure enough time to order your stamps before the Launch night. Seats will be limited, so make sure you prepay early to be assured of a seat.

30th Birthday Present

I thought I would share with you an album made for my dear friend Mel's 30th birthday. The album is covered using Basic Balck cardstock and Love Letter DSP, I filled the album with Basic Black cardstock layered with a sheet of vellum cardstock between each page. We took lots of photos at her party last night and we are going to print them and give them to Mel to keep in the album as a nice memory of her 30th Birthday Party. I hope you like it but most of all I hope Mel did :-)

Another recent request from a hostess was for a card with a 'beachy' theme. After searching through my stamps I came to the conclusion I was a little short on the beach and surf themed stamps, which is a little sad given I live on the Central Coast. I will have to rectify that and get some soon. After a few phone calls I found a friend who had the 'Seaworthy' stamp set. This is what I came up with for my hostess. Beachy?! Hope so.

Cherry Cobbler Christmas

This is one of the new SU colours, I have put it with Always Artichoke. I think they make a nice traditional Christmas colour combo but I am not sure the photo does the colour justice. Week 1 Boot Camp Stamping Task

As you know, I am running and participating in a business Boot Camp. Each week there is a stamping task requirement. This week the task is to pick a card in the current IB&C, use the layout to create your own card but you must use different colours and stamps. It is Spring tomorrow. Once again I, along with some other Demos, are having a stall in the Arts & Craft Pavillion of the 24th Annual Australia Springtime Flora Festival. We had such a great time last year and we are really looking forward to doing it again. We will have the new Idea Book & Catalogues to share will you, lucky door prize, demonstrations, displays and a make and take. Boot Camp

I am part of a Boot Camp that starts on the 1st September with the release of our new Idea Book & Catalogue. The purpose of the Boot Camp is to work together and support each other to get a sustainable momentum up and running for your Stampin' Up business, in line with the release of the new catty. It runs for 6 weeks. One of the requirements is that I must have at least one workshop each week during the 6 weeks of Boot Camp.

So, I am asking, who wants to have a workshop? Not only will you be one of the first to see the new Idea Book & Catalogue and use some of its gorgeous new products but I am also offering an incentive. Anyone who hosts a workshop between 1/9/10 - 14/10/10, will of course still get the wonderful free products offered by Stampin' Up for qualifying workshops, but you will also receive a free Classic Ink Pad and a Stampin' Write Marker, colour of your choice, when you place your workshop order. There is only one requirement from you, that you have four (4) guests at your workshop.

So please help me out, if I don't book 6 workshops I will be discharged from Boot Camp, aaaarrrrgggghhhh. Please save me the embarassment.

Retiring Colours Running Out - Be Quick!

With the recent Colour Renovation announcement, Stampin' Up have experienced an increase in demand for some of our retiring colours. Beginning now, all retiring colour products are available only while supplies last. While they have not run out of any retiring products, they may before the new catalogue begins on 1 September.

You may be asking yourself: Didn't Stampin' Up! anticipate increased demand on retiring colours? The quick answer is yes. The long answer is a bit more complicated. They based their forecasts for these retiring colours on historical sales info but the response to a transition of this nature can surprise everyone!
